Zoë's professional journey began as a nonprofit program founder and director working in partnership with the New Bedford Public School Department. Working alongside families and educators she developed a keen ability for locating and leveraging points of connection between curriculum, culture and industry to increase student engagement in learning. Zoë's insight and knowledge has been applied to a variety of learning communities including public, private, higher education and state level sectors. She is a TEDx speaker, graduate of Leadership SouthCoast and serves on a variety of committees and boards in her community, including the scholarship committee for the Community Foundation of Southeastern MA.
Recognizing the profound impact of the philanthropic sector within the realm of education, Zoë launched Ethos, aiming to apply her expertise and insight to philanthropic education strategy.
Raised in Providence, RI, Zoë attended the Met High School where she experienced the benefits of personalized learning first hand. Following high school, she attended the University of Connecticut and received her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Zoë resides in the City of New Bedford, MA with her partner Jake and daughter Rowan.
